Motorola taunts Nokia by lining up 'the day's main event' on September 5

Fiiiight! Technically, Nokia's is two events – one being Nokia World in Finland, and the second a launch event in the US, clearly for the same purpose: to unleash the company's next generation Lumia device(s), which are set to run Windows Phone 8 Apollo.
